WORKSHOPS AND RECITALS

Pricing for workshops, recitals and over events is posted within the event description. You're registration and event payment hold and guarantees your place. Since we keep our class sizes small, all event payments are final and non-refundable. However, we would be happy to discuss other reimbursement options such as transfers and studio credits.

There will be 2  studio recitals each academic year. These are GREAT motivators for students, and it provides a supportive environment for them to show the progress they’ve been making in lessons.

Possible recital dates will be sent out in advance. There is a recital fee for each student participating to defray costs for each event. Recital fees will be added to monthly tuition for each student participating. There is no charge for admission to the recitals.

Recitals are not required, but are strongly encouraged for each student.

POLICIES
PAYMENT
Tuition covers 4 lessons each month, scheduled at each students’ designated weekly lesson time. Tuition is not adjusted for missed classes by the student or studio closures due to holidays. Tuition is neither refundable nor transferable.
Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. Invoices and schedules will be sent out before the first of each month. These will include student updates such any missed lessons, makeups owed, upcoming events etc.

Monthly lesson tuition may be paid with cash, check, PayPal or Venmo.
All payments must be made to Performing Arts Collective. Under no circumstances are payments to be given directly to the instructors.
LATE FEE
Tuition payments that are late will be subject to a $20 fee. This includes accounts that cannot be processed due to bounced checks, inaccurate information or expired cards.
HOLIDAY CLOSURES
Holiday closures will be posted ahead of time on the website and on monthly invoices. Monthly tuition will not be adjusted for holidays but makeups will be granted up to 60 days after the given holiday.
EXTENDED VACATIONS
Extended vacations, in which you will be gone for more than a week, must be reported to Performing Arts Collective at least two weeks in advance. In these cases, tuition may be adjusted for the period of time in question.
LESSON CANCELATIONS & TARDINESS
24 hours of notice is required for any lesson cancelations, in order to give our teachers enough time to adjust their schedules accordingly. If 24 hours notice is given, a makeup lesson will be granted up to 30 days past the initial cancelation. Lesson cancelations under 24 hours notice will not be granted makeup lessons. Exceptions for illness or emergencies will be granted three times per lesson year. A record of lesson cancelations can be found in your student profile.
Upcoming vacations or known conflicts in which you will be away for more than a week should be given at least two weeks in advance. In these cases, tuition may be adjusted for the upcoming month so make up lessons do not continue to mount.
If you are tardy to the lesson you will not be kept late. If teachers need to cancel a lesson for reasons beyond our control, you will automatically be granted a makeup up to 60 days past the initial missed lesson.  If teachers are unavoidably late for your lesson, you will be held over, or the time will be made up.
SUPERVISION
A parent or legal guardian must be on site for the duration of every lesson. Your instructor will not begin a lesson if there is no parent or guardian in the home and no refund or credit will be granted.
CARE OF STUDENTS
The studio is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Students are not to be left at the studio for an excessive time before or after class.
